My most popular and budget tour. 4.5 hrs minimum. By
request, this can be extended with a per hour additional charge.

Cruise ship passengers can rent a car for the day for this tour opportunity, call me for details. Other options are available at a higher cost if you do not have a rental car

If you like, I will forward you a "Self Guided Tour" for you to enjoy on your way to meet me. I will give you specific instructions to visit places such as: Punalu'u Black Sands Beach (with fascinating trivia of this spiritual location), Pahala (quaint town of yesteryear including a concession of Coffee Roasting/Tasting rest stop at the foot of majestic green fertile farm land)...and much more. If needed, I will also include stops for you to enjoy on your return after our fun filled day.

I offer daytime and afternoon/sunset tours.

HOW THIS STARTED

Aloha,
While working in the hotel industry, I regularly heard similar frustrations and complaints from the guests. Common displeasures were:

*We have children, and we don't know where to go as a family

*We took a tour bus, and we wanted to stay at some of the locations. but we had to get back on the bus to leave. We felt like it was a jail/prisoner bus. Nothing catered to our children.

*On our tour bus, every 4th stop was a gift shop.

*If we rented a car, we just don't know where to go.
*We feel trapped in our hotel area.
*We want to see real Hawaii, not man made things at our hotel grounds.
*We tried to see as much as we could, and we found our whole vacation was too rushed, and we never really relaxed.
*WE WISH THERE WAS A TOUR GUIDE THAT WOULD TAKE US WHERE WE WANT TO GO!!

Because I felt for these people, I have created a personal guide service on the Big Island. I am an independent guide and a resident of the Big Island for over 40 years. I am also a single father of 2 beautiful boys, ages 16 and 15.
